Martin Dam
Martin Dam

Martin Dam raised the button to 28,000 and Raphael Schreiner three-bet to 92,000 from the small blind. Dam called and the two players saw the flop of 788 fall.

Both players checked and a 2 came on the turn. Schreiner put Dam all in for his last 65,000, and after a long tank, Dam called.

Martin Dam: AQ54 All in
Rraisedhael Schreiner: AKJ2

Neither player had much, but it was Schreiner's pair of deuces that were currently in the lead. A K completed the board, and Dam was out of the Main Event.

Dam quickly reentered and is sitting with a new 250,000 starting stack at a nearby table.

Ziegelbecker Takes From Komatz; Busts Him Soon After

Level 9 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Michael Komatz raised the cutoff to 20,000 with Dafishh calling from the button and Oswin Ziegelbecker defending his big blind.

After Ziegelbecker checked the 936 flop, Komatz placed out a bet of 45,000. Dafishh folded, but Ziegelbecker called.

Heads-up to the K turn that checked through for the 6 to complete the runout. Ziegelbecker bet 30,000, which was enough to get Komatz to fold.

A few hands later, Ziegerbecker was dragging in a big pot as he had eliminated Komatz.

Stormyr His a Dreamy Turn to Bust Ghojehvand

Level 9 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Sondre Stormyr
Sondre Stormyr

Krasmir Yankov raised to 20,000 from the hijack with Armin Ghojehvand calling on the button, Sondre Stormyr calling from the small blind, and Gergo Nagy defending from the big blind.

When it checked around to Ghojehvand on the 210J flop, he bet 75,000, and was met by a raise of the pot from Stormyr. Nagy and Yankov folded before Ghojehvand called for his stack of 230,000 total.

Armin Ghojehvand: JJ33 All in
Sondre Stormyr: KKQ6

Ghojehvand had top set against the huge combo-draw of Stormyr.

A K arrived on the turn, which was the best card in the deck for Stormyr as he improved to a lush, and a higher set than Ghojehvand.

There was no one outer on the river for Ghojehvand, as the A completed the board, and all of Ghojehvand's chips were sent over to Stormyr.

Ignat's Set Helps Him Soar to Almost a Milly

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Liviu Ignat
Liviu Ignat

Three ways to the turn on a board of 7J4K. Quan Zhou was first to act from the small blind and led out for 75,000. Liviu Ignat raised to 345,000 from under the gun, forcing Geoffrey Mooney to fold from the hijack. Zhou moved all in for roughly 360,000 and Ignat called.

Quan Zhou: J772 All in
Liviu Ignat: JJ106

Both players had flopped a set, but it was Ignat's set of jacks that was ahead, and only a seven from heaven on the river could save Zhou.

The river came the 5, meaning Zhou was out and Ignat closed in on a million.
