Dam Triples Up; Derwiche Busts

Level 11 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Imad Derwiche
Imad Derwiche

Martin Dam made it 42,000 under the gun and Imad Derwiche called from the cutoff. Raphael Schreiner squeezed it t around 180,000 from the small blind, and Dam shoved for 263,000. Derwiche moved all in himself for around 350,000, and Schreiner called with the covering stack.

Martin Dam: AJJ10 All in
Imad Derwiche: AJ98 All in
Raphael Schreiner: AAK8

If Schreiner's pocket aces held up, he would bust two players and send his stack soaring to over a million.

However, the J74 flop was a disaster for Schreiner, as Dam took the lead with a set of jacks. Schreiner picked up a flush draw on the K turn, but the 3 river was a brick.

Dam tripled up to around 800,000, and Schreiner won the side pot to bust Derwiche.

Wieser's Tournament Comes to an End

Level 11 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Maximilian Wieser
Maximilian Wieser

Youness Barakat limped under the gun and Siamak Shirazian called from the button. Espen Sandvik called from the small blind before Maximilian Wieser raised to 60,000 from the big blind. Only Barakat called.

Wieser shoved his last 34,000 into the middle on the K98 flop, and Barakat immediately called.

Maximilian Wieser: AQJ5 All in
Youness Barakat: QJ107

Barakat turned a flush on the 6 turn, leaving Wieser drawing dead. An 8 on the river was irrelevant as all of Wieser's chips headed over to Barakat.

Mooney's Set Finishes Nagy's Main Event

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The flop was showing 68K in a heads-up pot between Gergo Nagy in the cutoff and Geoffrey Mooney out of the blinds. After some betting and raising, Nagy's remaining 200,000 or so got into the middle with Mooney trying to bust him.

Gergo Nagy: AK73 All in
Geoffrey Mooney: J885

Mooney held a set of snowmen against the flush draw of Nagy.

The remainder of the board ran out J3, which didn't help Nagy, and he was the next casualty of the Main Event.

Grubinger Busts to Barakat's Boat

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Marcel Grubinger
Marcel Grubinger

A pot of around 600,000 had already accumulated between Marcel Grubinger and Youness Barakat. Both players were staring at a board of 2KJK and Barakat had put Grubinger all-in. Grubinger only had a few big blinds left, and after a long tank, he reluctantly called.

Marcel Grubinger: AQ62 All in
Youness Barakat: JJ103

Grubinger was already drawing dead to Barakat's turned full house, and after the inconsequential 7 arrived on the river, Grubinger wished the players good luck as he made he was to the rail.

Mooney's Aces Crumble

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Geoffrey Mooney
Geoffrey Mooney

Youness Barakat limped under the gun and Tomasz Krzesinski called from the hijack. Geoffrey Mooney potted it from the button, and only Krzesinski called.

Krzesinski checked after the dealer spread out the Q73 flop, and Mooney bet the pot for around 110,000. Krzesinski check-shoved, covering Mooney, and Mooney sigh-called for his remaining 120,000.

Geoffrey Mooney: AA105 All in
Tomasz Krzesinski: 6533

Mooney had bare aces against the bottom set of Krzesinski.

Krzesinski turned Mooney dead on the 4 turn by improving to a straight. The 10 to complete the board was just a necessity, as all of Mooney's chips were absorbed into Krzesinski's stack.
