From the hijack, Marcel Grubinger raised to 85,000 and only Bassel Alanaz called on the button.

The action checked all the way to the river on the 10♣8♠J♥3♠9♦ runout. After Grubinger checked for the last time, Alanaz bet 95,000. Grubinger check-raised the pot, and Alanaz snap-folded.

At a nearby table, Michael Komatz was seen leaving the table and has been eliminated.

Bujtas Takes Out Nesterenko

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 75,000 from the small blind and Sergei Nesterenko called out of the big blind.

Bujtas continued for 75,000 on the A♦K♠5♦ flop, and Nesterenko called.

A 4♦ on the turn caused Bujtas to check. Nesterenko asked the dealer, "How much is in there?", but it was Bujtas who immediately responded with "340".

Nesterenko then carved out a bet of 200,000, and Bujtas called.

A 10♠ arrived on the river to complete the board, getting one last check from Bujtas. Nesterenko stacked up all of his chips, which totalled about 400,000, and slid them across the betting line. Bujtas quickly called.

Nesterenko showed Q♦10♦10♥5♥ for a flush, but it was second-best to Bujtas' K♦J♦6♥3x for a higher flush.

Nesterenko was out, and Bujtas up to over two million.

Barakat Picks Off Myrmo's Bluff

Check, check, followed the 4♥Q♦2♦ flop, with the 9♥ arriving on the turn. Barakat bet 150,000, which Myrmo called.

A 10♣ rolled off on the river, causing Barakat to check. Myrmo bet 315,000 and Barakat quickly called.

Myrmo showed a busted flush draw with A♥9♠8♥8♣, and lost the pot to Barakat's Q♥10♥7♣2♣ for two pair.

A big pot just occurred between Eelis Parssinen and Aku Joentausta after Parssinen put all his chips in the middle preflop, and Joentausta called to try to take Parssinen out.

Parssinen looked likely to be the next elimination of Day 1b, unless he found a lot of help from the dealer to crack the aces of Joentausta.

Nothing changed on the 4♣6♦3♣ flop, and the A♠ on the turn left Parssinen drawing dead. The 5♣ on the river was irrelevant and Joentausta's stack climbed to over two million.

Alanaz checked the 2♦ turn, and De Kroon bet the pot for around 200,000. Alanaz jammed, and De Kroon called for his few remaining chips.
