Martirosian Holds On With Second Pair
Level 10
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Adrian Mateos raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and Artur Martirosian defended from the big blind.
Once Martirosian checked the 7♠A♣Q♠ flop, Mateos put out a min-bet of 40,000. Martirosian continued in the form of a call.
The 4♠ dropped on the turn and Martirosian checked again. Mateos bet 150,000, and Martirosian used a time bank card before electing to call.
A 9♣ completed the board and both players checked. Martirosian showed Q♦8♠ for second pair to take down the pot as Mateos mucked.
