Thomas Muehloecker Leads as VIPs and Pros Come Together on Day 2 of the $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em Grand Slam
VIPs and pros combine into one on Day 2 of the Onyx High Roller Series $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em Grand Slam.
The field had been split over the two starting flights, with invited players taking their shot on Day 1a and the pros on Day 1b. With 36 players making it through, the field will come together when Day 2 begins at 1 p.m. local time inside the Merit Royal Diamond Casino & Spa.
Thomas Muehloecker holds a big chip lead with 3,505,000, followed by Klemens Roiter (2,865,000) and Fahredin Mustafov (2,100,000). Johan Guilbert led the VIPs with 1,995,000, while Artur Martirosian (1,940,000) rounds out the top five.

A total of 83 players entered over the two starting flights. Anyone who busted in the later stages of their flight can still reenter before the start of Day 2. The official prize pool should be announced shortly after the start of play.
The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 13 with blinds of 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. Levels will be 60 minutes, with a break after every two levels and a 75-minute dinner break following Level 18. The field is expected to play down to the final table today.
