Vogelsang Forces Zhou to Burn Seven Time Banks
Thomas Muehloecker raised to 325,000 in middle position before Igor Yaroshevskyy woke up with A♠A♥ in the big blind and three-bet to 1,025,000. Muehloecker folded 10♦9♦.
"I have 28 bullets in Tritons, zero cashes. But one day I will win and make back all those bullets," Johan Guilbert said to Matthias Eibinger, optimistic about the future.
Meanwhile, Tom Vogelsang had opened to 320,000 in middle position with Q♣8♣ and Quan Zhou defended his big blind.
Vogelsang continued for 300,000 on the J♣9♦4♣ flop and Zhou called. The 4♥ turn was checked through, and the 7♣ fell on the river.
Zhou then led out for 775,000, but Vogelsang came back with a raise to 2,500,000 with his rivered flush. Zhou ended up using seven time banks and tanking for more than four minutes before picking up his K♠J♦ and tossing it into the muck.
