Aren Bezhanyan raised to 160,000 from middle position before Joni Jouhkimainen three-bet the pot to 690,000 from the next seat. When it got back to Bezhanyan, he called and the dealer fanned out the Q♥5♠9♣ flop.
Bezhanyan started with a check, and Jouhkimainen announced a bet of 1,450,000. Bezhanyan quickly jammed, and Jouhkimainen called to put himself at risk.
Joni Jouhkimainen: A♠A♦Q♠3♣
Aren Bezhanyan: A♥Q♦9♠4♥
Jouhkimainen had aces, but he'd been outflopped by the top two pair of Bezhanyan.
Bezhanyan moved in further ahead on the 7♥ turn by picking up a flush draw. The 9♥ arrived on the river to give Bezhanyan a boat, and Jouhkimainen was the next to hit the rail in eigth place.
Aren Bezhanyan raised to 200,000 in middle position and Quan Zhou called in the small blind, as did Tom Vogelsang in the big blind.
The flop came 8♠6♦5♣ and Vogelsang moved all in for 525,000. Bezhanyan folded, but Zhou used up a time bank and eventually called to put Vogelsang at risk.
Tom Vogelsang: Q♥Q♦8♦6♠
Quan Zhou: A♠A♥10♦7♥
Vogelsang had outflopped Zhou's aces with two pair, but the 5♠ turn gave Zhou aces and fives. The river was the 9♠ and Zhou took the pot, sending Vogelsang to the rail in ninth place.
Aren Bezhanyan raised J♦10♥10♦9♣ to 210,000 from the cutoff and only Laszlo Bujtas called from the big blind holding A♦K♦3♥2♥.
A flop of 4♥4♣3♠ fell and Bujtas check-folded to Bezhanyan's bet of 250,000.
On the next hand, Artur Vyborov raised K♥Q♠J♦9♣ from early position to 200,000, and only Bezhanyan called from the hijack with K♦Q♣10♥8♥.
Check, check followed the 4♠A♦3♣ flop to see a 2♣ on the turn. Vyborov bet 160,000 and Bezhanyan tossed his cards away.
