Alexey Borovkov
Alexey Borovkov

Alexey Borovkov jammed for 230,000 from the cutoff, and Mikita Badziakouski thought for a while from the big blind, then made the call to try and bust the start-of-day chip leader.

Alexey Borovkov: 9♥9♦ All in
Mikita Badziakouski: K♠8♠

Borovkov was ahead with a pair of nines, although the 6♦5♦K♥ flop put Badziakouski in front with top pair.

However, the 9♠ fell on the turn to give Borovkov a much-needed set, with Badziakouski needing to river a seven for a straight.

The board-pairing 6♥ was a brick, giving Borovkov a full house, and he doubled up to half a million.

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Alexey Borovkov raised to 50,000 in the cutoff with K♥10♥, which prompted Manuel Fritz to move all-in for 440,000 from the cutoff holding A♠K♦. Mikalai Vaskaboinikau then went deep into the tank with 9♦9♣ in the big blind, but ultimately folded. Borovkov wasted no time at all letting go of his cards, seeing Fritz pull in the pot uncontested.

From the hijack, Artur Martirosian jammed for 265,000, and Rob Yong peeled back one card, which was an ace. Yong slowly turned over the other, which matched the first, and called to put Martirosian at risk.

Artur Martirosian: A♦Q♥ All in
Rob Yong: A♠A♣

Martirosian had run into the aces with ace-queen and needed a miracle to keep his seat at the final table.

No miracle came for Martirosian on the 10♣7♣4♠3♥2♦ runout, and all of his chips were sent over to Yong.

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Manuel Fritz raised to 50,000 from the cutoff with A♦6♦, Zorlu Er called from the small blind with 7♣5♣, and Mikita Badziakouski called from the big blind with J♠9♦.

The flop came 9♠8♠7♠, and all three players checked. The 10♦ hit the turn, and everyone checked again.

The 6♣ landed on the river, and Badziakouski led for 75,000. Fritz raised to 250,000, Er folded, and Badziakouski made the call.

Fritz's A♦6♦ played the straight on the board, while Badziakouski's J♠9♦ made a jack-high straight to take the pot.
