and both players checked. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}

and the first player checked. Favaloro fired 1,500 and his opponent called.

The river brought the {5-Diamonds}

and action checked to Favaloro again. He fired 3,025 and his opponent called again. Favaloro tabled {A-Spades}

and his opponent mucked.

Favaloro has been on quite a run here on the first day of action and has built his starting stack of 15,000 chips up to 65,000. He is the clear chip leader in the room.
