Yngve Steen Soaring

Three players committed 6,000 preflop to see a {3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop. Cody Bell bet out 9,000 from under the gun only to have Hong Zhang raise to 22,000 in late position.

With the action on Yngve Steen in the hijack, he three-bet to 43,500 as Bell folded. Zhang called, and when the turn landed the {9-Clubs}, both players checked.

The river landed the {A-Spades}, and after another Zhang check, Steen bet out 22,500.

After several minutes in the tank, Zhang called, but then mucked once he saw Steen's {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair.

Ian Simpson

Unibet Ambassador Ian Simpson has just been eliminated from today's tournament.

Simpson opened the action with a raise and was met with two callers before he check-raised all in on an {8-}{6-}{4-} flop. One opponent called and tabled {J-}{J-} to be well ahead of Simpson's {9-}{9-}.

The turn and river blanked out, and Simpson was headed to the rail.
