Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A three-way all in saw a shorter stack, former Red Dragon Champion Denny Deng Feng Yu and Zhiqiang Qian all with their chips in the middle and Qian was the second player at risk for 38,400.

Short stack: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Zhiqiang Qian: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Denny Deng Feng Yu: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board came {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Qian almost tripled up while Yu may have missed out on the Day 1b chip lead.

Clock Stopped for Day 1b

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There are 153 players remaining in the penultimate starting day and they will play another six hands until bagging and tagging. In the meanwhile, Day 1c has reached level six with 114 players out of 128 entries remaining and the money bubble in the Single-Day High Roller has burst.

Jamie Lee finished in 8th place and Luke Lee bubbled. Derek Ip chopped when he was all-in on the bubble and has now cashed his first and second-ever live MTT.

Yu Busts Jiao

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}, Lei Yu jammed into a bet of 9,000 by Wei Jiao and sent his opponent into the think tank. The clock was called on Jiao and he eventually called.

Wei Jiao: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Lei Yu: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The {2-Clubs} turn and {q-Clubs} river brought no help for Jiao and he departed.

Lee Busts Two

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jun Obara
Jun Obara

Daniel Lee raised and picked up two callers to see the {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Jun Obara in the big blind shoved for around 14,500. Lee and the third player in the hand called, they then got it in after the {6-Spades} turn.

Obara tabled {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and was drawing dead as Lee turned over {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top set. He was not guaranteed the double knockout yet as he had to fade {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the combo draw. A blank {2-Clubs} came on the river and that sent the entire pot to Lee.

Two Barrels Work for Dai

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Liuheng Dai opened to 3,5000 and received two callers including Kosumosu Yamanaka. The flop came {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and the big blind checked, Dai bet 6,500 and just the big blind came along.

After the {4-Clubs} turn, a second barrel of 12,000 by Dai did the trick to force down all further action.
