Magnus got it in good and she was rewarded with a double after the board ran out a safe {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}.

Phan Gets the Double

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Donnie Phan
Donnie Phan

A player under-the-gun opened to 7,000 and the action folded around to Donnie Phan on the button. Phan raised all-in to 31,000. After the small blind folded, the big blind re-raised all-in to 38,200. The initial raiser considered his options, ultimately folding.

Phan tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and was up against the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} of his opponent.

The flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} caused some "oohs" and "aahs" from the table, and ultimately Phan scooped the pot when the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Salabi Doubles Through Bekavac

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jimmy "Blue Eyes" Salabi raised under-the-gun to 6,000 and was called by Dan Bekavac in the cut-off and the big blind of Pat Steele.

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Steele checked, Salabi bet 7,500 and Bekavac raised to 20,000. With a total of 32,500, Salabi raised all-in and was called by Bekavac.

Salabi tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and faced the {5-Spades}{4-Hearts} of Bekavac.

Salabi's pocket pair held as the board completed {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Runner-Runner Wins the Hand

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Andy Rogowski and Dan Bekavac
Andy Rogowski and Dan Bekavac

Andy Rogowski raised to 6,000 from early position and Midway Poker Tour founder Dan Bekavac called next to act. Minnesota's Kou Vang came along from the small blind and the trio saw a flop of {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts}, which they all checked.

After the dealer burned and turned the {j-Clubs}, Vang checked, Rogowski bet 7,300, and only Bekavac called to see the {9-Spades} river.

Rogowski checked but still called when Bekavac bet 10,000.

"Runner, runner," Bekavac said before tabling the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair. It was good as Rogowski simply mucked.

Yeung Doubles Through Weber

Level 13 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeung
Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeung

A player opened to 5,500 from the hijack position and was re-raised all-in by Jason "Bigboyyyyy" Yeung to 30,000 on the button. Then Chris Weber re-raised all-in from the big blind, driving out the hijack player and creating a heads-up situation.

Weber showed his {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and was racing against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} of Yeung.

Things looked bleak for Yeung after the flop of {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} but the tide "turned" as the board ran out {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.
