Gludkinas Flops Trips vs Villena

Robertas Gludkinas limped in from early position and Pablo Villena raised to 1,200 on the button. After the blinds folded, Gludkinas called.

Gludkinas check-called a bet of 900 from Villena on the 6♠3♠6♥ flop.

Both players checked the A♣ turn for the 3♥ to peel off on the river. Gludkinas bet 6,100 and Villena went deep into the tank. Eventually, he reluctantly called and was shown trips by Gludkinas with K♣6♦. Villena mucked his cards and Gludkinas pulled in the pot.

Aghasi Pressures Aganauskas Out

Marius Zidonis raised to 800 under the gun with Vytautas Aganauskas, Thomas Berniunas, and Ronan Faughnan calling from late positions before Kermani Aghasi squeezed to 2,800 from the big blind. Zidonis, Aganauska, Berniunas, and Faughnan called.

The five players saw the dealer fan out a flop of 6♠9♥2♠—Aghasi bet 5,000, which was only called by Aganauskas.

When the 6♥ came on the turn Aghasi bet enough to put Aganauskas all-in. The bet was for 17,000 and after just a few moments, Aganauskas folded and forfeited the pot to Aghasi.

Chan was in perfect shape to double-up through O'Reilly if he could just avoid a three. However, the dealer put out a board of Q♦3♣7♠A♣K♥ to give O'Reilly the winner with two pair, aces and threes, sending Chan out of the tournament.

The action was picked up with the flop reading 9♥Q♥J♠. Koen Roelofsen bet 600 from under the gun and Shivam Raj called from the hijack.

When the 6♥ dropped on the turn, Roelofsen bet 1,800, which Raj called.

Roelofsen didn't slow down on the K♣ river; instead, he sized-up and bet 6,000. Raj pondered briefly before putting in the call. Roelofsen showed A♥10♠ for a rivered Broadway straight and Raj mucked.

Mark Gough limped in from early position before Chris Murphy shoved for roughly 4,000 from the next seat. Steven Lee three-bet to around 12,000 from the hijack. After the rest of the table folded, the cards were revealed with Murphy at risk.

Murphy was in bad shape against the kings of Lee. He found no help on the 2♦4♥7♣Q♣J♦ runout and he was out.

Murphy headed straight to the rebuy counter and reentered the event.
