Level 6 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kamlesh Mehta
Kamlesh Mehta

Xianbin Li had lost a portion of his stack while Jonathan Hyman extended his lead over the rest of the table.

Kamlesh Mehta then got it in preflop with the A♠K♦ and preflop raiser Li "gambled" with the Q♥10♠ from under the gun.

The board ran out J♦8♣6♠5♣Q♦ board and the queen on the river knocked out Mehta.

Keshav Sends Raza to the Rail

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ali Raza
Ali Raza

Ali Raza in the cutoff limped in and Menesh Keshav raised to 4,000 on the button. Luqman A in the big blind flatted to Raza then jammed for 20,400, which Keshav called. Luqman A declared fold and flashed his 6♣6♥.

Ali Raza: Q♣Q♦ All in
Menesh Keshav: A♦A♣

The two traps may have almost backfired when the J♠9♠6♦ flop came, which would have given Luqman A a set. No further drama ensued on the 3♦ turn and K♦ river for Raza to bust.

Mulji Doubles Through Li

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Xianbin Li only flatted a raise to then spring into the action when Anjan Mulji four-bet jammed his stack of 47,900 and that got rid of everyone else at the table.

Anjan Mulji: A♥K♠ All in
Xianbin Li: A♣Q♥

Neither player connected with the 10♥9♣4♥8♦4♠ runout and Mulji doubled thanks to his kicker advantage.

Singh Loses Some Momentum

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

"I am getting coolered every hand," Sugen Singh bemoaned when he dropped another pot to Moussa Soililti when they checked down the turn and river of a 10♦9♦3♣A♠9♣ board. Singh's king-queen were mucked as Soililti had the superior hand in K♣10♥.

Soililti remains near the top of the leaderboard and alongside Jonathan Hyman.

More for Mohamed

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Iqubal Mohamed
Iqubal Mohamed

On the river of a [Ts7s54s6hKh] board, Raphael Bsiri bet 13,000 and couldn't get Iqubal Mohamed to fold, exposing his Q♣9♣ for a missed gutshot. Mohamed had that crushed with the Q♥Q♠ to win the pot and continue his surge after a rough start into Day 1a.

In the meanwhile one table over, Patrice Ah-Nien bowed out to his previous nemesis Shemir Kamoula and Panayiotis Giannakopoulos also disappeared.

Kamoula Double Leaves Ah-Nien Shorter

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the 9♣6♦5♥J♦ turn, Shemir Kamoula got his stack into the middle against Patrice Ah-Nien and was at risk with Q♣Q♥ versus J♥9♥. The river was the 6♥ to pair the board and counterfeit Ah-Nien's hand.

Showdown Pot for Sardini

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the river of a A♠9♣3♣8♥Q♣ board, Gavin Sardini bet 6,500 and Jonathan Hyman called.

"Which one do you want to see?" Sardini asked and Hyman replied rather dry with "I guess both". Sardini first showed the Q♦ followed by the A♦ for the top two pair. Hyman mucked and Sardini jumped back above the starting stack.

Panayiotis Giannakopoulos had re-entered into the very same seat again. They say the third time is a charm.

Yasir Double Leaves Giannakopoulos Short

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

In a four-way limped pot to the A♠K♣J♠ flop, the action escalated when Jonathan Hyman check-raised to 18,000 in the small blind. Muhammad Yasir then pushed all-in for 96,200 and Gavin Sardini got out of the way.

Panayiotis Giannakopoulos was on the button and in the tank when he said "fuck it, fuck it, fuck it" moments before piling in his 116,000. Hyman asked for a count on the all-ins and then folded, flashing the K♦J♥ for the bottom two pair.

"That's not a good time for you to come," Giannakopoulos exclaimed when his father Costa had looked over to see what was happening.

Muhammad Yasir: Q♥10♦
Panayiotis Giannakopoulos: 3♠2♠

The flush draw bricked on the J♣ turn and 7♣ river, though, Hyman would have knocked out two opponents.

More for Hyman and Keshav After Dinner

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Panayiotis Giannakopoulos check-called a bet of 8,000 by Jonathan Hyman on the K♣6♣6♥7♥3♠ river and the latter announced queens before showing his Q♦Q♠ to win the pot. "You rivered me," Giannakopoulos joked.

Ali Raza took an even bigger hit when he raised and called a three-bet to 8,500 by Menesh Keshav one seat over. Raza check-called twice for 12,000 on the 10♦4♣3♥ flop and 26,000 on the 7♥ turn. After the 9♥ river, they both checked and Raza tabled the A♦10♥, which Keshav had beat holding the Q♠Q♥.
