Van Putten Coolers Harrison to Take the Chip Lead
Level 33
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Hank Van Putten raised to 160,000 on the button and Sonya Harrison called in the big blind.
Both players checked the 10♥9♦3♥ flop. Van Putten then bet 110,000 on the 8♦ turn, Harrison moved all in, and Van Putten snap-called for 1,365,000.
Van Putten showed J♣7♣ for a straight, while Harrison had a smaller straight and flush draw with 7♦6♦. The 9♥ river was no help to Harrison, and Van Putten doubled up into the chip lead.
