Duthie Eliminated by Watson

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
John Duthie
John Duthie

John Duthie was in early position and got his stack in before the flop against Michael Watson, who was in the big blind and had the larger of the two stacks.

Duthie: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Watson: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Watson had the preflop advantage and Duthie needed to improve in order to preserve his tournament life. After the board ran out {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs} Watson's queens were still best, so he took the pot to send Duthie to the rail.

Level 13 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

Action folded around to the blinds and the small raised to 125,000. Partypoker Sponsored Pro Anatoly Filatov three-bet to 350,000 from the big blind and the small blind called.

The flop came {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and the small blind bet 450,000. Filatov called.

The {A-Diamonds} fell on the river, the small blind bet 660,000, and Filatov called. The small blind flipped over {K-}{K-} but Filatov showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} so he took the pot to put his stack over the 10,000,000-chip mark.

Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

There was a substantial pot already brewing and the board read {A-}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} when we got to the table. Partypoker Sponsored Pro Kristen Bicknell bet 485,000 from the small blind into her lone opponent, who was under the gun. He called and Bicknell tabled {A-}{K-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker. Bicknell's opponent tossed his cards into the muck and Bicknell took the chips.
