Ensan and Ueberfeldt Eliminated

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Down to just 1,190,000, Ducardo Ueberfeldt moved all in and Alamzad Sina on the button asked for a count, then called.

Ducardo Ueberfeldt: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Alamzad Sina: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The board came {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Ueberfelft was eliminated. Right after the hand, Hossein Ensan walked over to talk with Sina about his exit.

Ensan had three-bet shoved with {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} into a 550,000-raise by Simon Trumper, who called with {J-}{9-} and spiked a jack.

Eiler; Mach and Novotny Eliminated

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Jan Mach, Andreas Eiler and David Novotny have been eliminated.

Novotny got it in with {K-Spades}{5-Hearts} from the button and he was called by Matous Skorepa in the big blind with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Novotny was drawing dead on the turn.

Aleksandar Tomovic just took a beat against Vladimir Minarik, who he had doubled through before. Tomovic was about to deal the final blow with kings versus sevens, but a seven in the window saved Minarik for now.

Nourreddine Chinek Flush With Success

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The board at the river read {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Leo Schulz had a bet of 650,000 in front of him but faced a raise to 1,600,000 from Nourreddine Chinek.

The river completed a lot of draws and Schulz gave the matter due consideration before deciding to call.

Chinek showed him the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} ace high flush and Schulz mucked.

Hata and Tamasauskas Eliminated

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The next two casualties were Aymon Hata and [Removed:174], and both would bust with a very similar hand.

Hata shoved for his last 1,515,000 with {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Fabrice Halleux called with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The board came {J-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and ace-high was good enough to claim the pot.

Tamasauskas busted in a battle of the Lithuanians, getting it in with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} only to see Semaska quickly call with {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Tamasauskas had an open-ended straight draw on the {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, but the {6-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river bricked off.

Click & Collect Andreas Aulike Survives

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Andreas Aulike
Andreas Aulike

Simon Trumper called from early positon and Andreas Aulike was then all in for his three big blind.

Leo Schulz on his left raised and Trumper left them to it.

Aulike is one of three remaining partypoker “Click & Collect” players who have navigated their way here from a freeroll ticket to a slice of the €1,000,000 guarantee and now his tournament life was on the line.

Aulike showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and needed a healthy dose of luck to survive against the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} of Schulz.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

He got it!

When the river card came Aulike finally allowed himself to breathe out as relief washed over him and propelled his stack to the seven big blind mark.

Tough Beat for Roder

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

After a raise, Tonio Roder three-bet to 600,000 and Milan Topoly four-bet all in for 4,290,000 with {A-}{K-}. Roder snap-called with pocket aces only to see Topoly flop a gutshot and turn a straight in brutal fashion.

Among those to bust were also Flash and Frank Robotka.

Early Doubles for Günther Jakwerth and Artur Jarek

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Günther Jakwerth was all in preflop and it was Artur Jarek and Alamzad Sina who were contesting the additional pot over a flop of {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

It was Jarek who went for a check-raise and then gritted his teeth to call for his tournament life when Sina set him in so all three players turned their cards over.

Jakwerth: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Jarek: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Sina: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}

Sina was the big stack and he had a chance to knock out two opponents if he could spike a spade on a kind run out.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and the river the {4-Diamonds}.

Smiles for Jakwerth and Jarek who doubled through Sina.

The First Table Breaks

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

As expected the eliminations come at a quick pace right after the restart and the first table just broke. Among those to settle for a min-cash of €2,000 was also former WSOP November Niner Vojtech Ruzicka. He got it in against fellow Czech Vojtěch Kratochvíl with {A-}{6-} versus {A-}{K-} and a king on the board spelled the end for Ruzicka.

Marc Döring quickly called with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and the board came {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} to send Gerner to the rail.

Level 17 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Michal Marian Skalski raised to 250,000 and was called by Matthias De Meulder on the button and the big blind. The flop fell {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and the big blind checked, then folded to the subsequent action. Skalski continued for 275,000 and De Meulder called before the Polish player also bet the {K-Hearts} turn for 335,000, De Meulder called.

After the {10-Hearts} river, Skalski checked and De Meulder bet 950,000, which saw Skalski quickly toss in a chip for the call. De Meulder showed {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair and a busted flush draw, while Skalski had that beat with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for the straight.
