Since the closure of late registration, our short stacks have been busting out left and right in an attempt to stay alive and run up a stack. Having a look round the current stacks, it seems as though we will be seeing some very big stacks taken through to Day 2 from this flight. There are already a number of stacks at or approaching the 200,000 mark. Our chipleader at the moment, though, is currently sat on 213,000.
Late registration closes at the end of the break, which will allow us to clear a little space to set up for the last flight of the day: a hyper-turbo with 10-minute blind levels starting at 1030pm!
With the conclusion of today's first Day 1, the floor staff at Montesino have managed to make room for 10 alternates, bringing the total entrants up to 268, of whom 51 have chosen to re-enter already!
