Round Two

Dan Purcel finished today's earlier flight with 133,000, having narrowly escaped bubbling with the help of a fortuitous triple-up late on. However, as he confirmed chip count with the floor staff and collected his €250 cash prize for making Day 2, it was crystal clear that his intention was to try and run up a bigger stack.

"Can I buy in again?" he asked.

The floorman confirmed that he could indeed buy in to the next flight, but clarified that he may only take through the bigger of his two stacks. That was all the incentive that Purcel needed, as he rushed to the cash desk to enter the second flight. He's currently sat with just 51,000, though, so is going to need to get busy to make his extended venture worthwhile.
