Zukernik in Trouble

Level 30 : 1,200,000/2,400,000, 2,400,000 ante

The action has somewhat slowed down with barely any hands making it post the flop. Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy defended his big blind with {K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} against a button raise by Philipp Zukernik, who held {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and checked the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop.

Zukernik continued for 5.5 million and was called before the {K-Hearts} turn and {A-Diamonds} river eventually went check-check. Zukernik saw the bad news and immediately sighed.

Richard Dubini is cruising along in the 8-Max Side Event

With just 32 players left, three high profile partypoker Sponsored Pros are still in the mix.

Argentinian player Richard Dubini (pictured) has 1.4 million chips at 15,000/30,000 blinds. That's a fraction over Johnny Lodden's average stack of 1.2m, but Anatoly Filatov is slightly shorter.

"I came in with 214,000 but I have 260,000 now. It's going up!" he told us.

With $266,800 up for grabs for the win, everyone still involved with four tables left is clearly desperate to make the final table.
