The Day 1c Turbo flight is rattling along at a very brisk pace as you might imagine, with successful players who last the distance going straight into the Day 2 action when that resumes in the Main Event at 4 pm local time.

The partypoker sponsored pro Romanello, who hails from Wales, has won back-to-back pots with a flopped flush and then without showdown to leap a decent percentage above starting stack on around 1.1million.

At the other end of the chipcounts, legendary high roller Steve O'Dwyer, who has $18.5 million in live tournament winnings, will have to fight hard to reach a Day 2 place, with just 230,000 chips to his name at blinds fo 2,500/5,000.
