There were 57 players that qualified for Day 2 via partypoker, of which 15 have multiple stacks through the phase satellites or the live Day 1s here at the Sochi Casino and Resort. Day 2 of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia $5,300 Main Event will get underway in half an hour from now at the stunning Sochi Casino & Resort in the Krasnaya Polyana region of Russia. After three starting days, of which two hosted levels of 60 minutes each and today's turbo flight with 20-minute levels, there are 515 players out of 864 entries remaining.
They are all aiming to take a share of the $5 million guaranteed prize pool as of 4 p.m. local time and can re-enter once during the first four levels of 75 minutes and the following dinner break. The second tournament day will feature a total of six levels of 75 minutes and should conclude at approximately 1 a.m. local time, you can find the blind structure below.

Leading the field into the day is Dmitriy Kopyl with his massive stack of 5,924,000 followed by partypoker Day 2 online qualifier Peter Smyth and Day 1a chip leader Matt Eardley (4,413,000). Florian-Dimitrie Duta shot to a big stack in the last level of 1b to claim 4,101,000 while other big stacks and notables include Gary Banks (3,562,000), Pierre Neuville (3,470,000), Gerald Karlic (3,446,000).
The partypoker brand is represented by the Sponsored Pros Johnny Lodden (2,866,000), Anatoly Filatov (2,400,000), Roberto Romanello (1,802,000), Jan-Peter Jachtmann (1,678,000), Dzmitry Urbanovich (1,320,000), Richard Dubini (1,120,000), as well as partypoker Chairman Mike Sexton (495,000).

Some new entries in the downstairs cash game area include Steve O'Dwyer, Mikhail Shalamov and Vladimir Troyanovskiy. Philipp Gruissem advanced from Day 1C with just over starting stack and he sits in that area of the casino also.

The corner section of the main tournament room features plenty of familiar faces on neighboring tables, as Gary Banks takes on Aleksei Kozlov and Pavel Shirshikov.
One table over is Kenny Hallaert and the Belgian witnessed Merzhvinskiy win a big pot on his table. The Russian had bet the river for 210,000 and was paid to flip over for a full house. His opponent in the one seat mucked and Merzhvinskiy raked in the pot to get above average.

Richard Dubini was eliminated and re-entered to find himself with fellow partypoker Sponsored Pros Roberto Romanello and Anatoly Filatov. There is one further star on the table in former Russian tennis legend Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Romanello had to forfeit some chips against the Russian.
Kafelnikov raised to 55,000 and Romanello three-bet to 202,000 in the big blind, which Kafelnikov called. On the flop, Romanello continued for 230,000 and folded to a three-bet worth 575,000 by Kafelnikov.

Jeff Lisandro raised to 52,000 from early position and Ruben Sahnazarov defended his big blind. The flop came and Sahnazarov checked to Lisandro.
Lisandro continued for 52,000 and Sahnazarov check-raised to 200,000. Lisandro called.
The turn was the and both players checked.
The river was the and Sahnazarov moved all in for 260,000. Lisandro quickly called. Sahnazarov tabled for two-pair, but Lisandro had turned a straight flush with and that was good enough to eliminate his opponent.
"I gave him time to find something," said Lisandro as he added his opponent's chips to his stack, "On the river he found something! Don't rush players, give them time!"
