The flop came and McDonald checked. Gallant bet 33,000 and McDonald called. The turn was the . McDonald checked, and Galland bet 68,000. McDonald called.

The river was the and McDonald checked yet again. Galland bet 113,000 and McDonald went into the tank. After about a minute, McDonald check-raised to 400,000. Vishal Singh Maini was in the small blind and moved all in for his last 243,000 chips. Perrault got out of the way, and Mizzi went into the tank for almost two minutes before deciding to call.
