Day 2 begins tomorrow at noon!
With over 500,000 in the pot already and a board reading , Thomas Taylor checked his option to Ryan Yu who fired a bet of 375,000. Taylor eventually made the call and the came on the river. The river was the . The hijack led out for 350,000 this time. Conniff took his time and eventually called.
"King high," said the hijack, tabling . Conniff showed for two pair and scooped the pot.
Conniff has now tripled his starting stack and is sitting healthy with just a couple of more levels left in the day.

A player from middle position limped in, as did the players in the hijack, the button and the small blind. Leor Wasserman was in the big blind and moved all in for 426,000. The first player to limp folded, and the hijack called fairly quickly. The button folded, and the small blind flashed before folding.
Wasserman tabled and was delighted to see that his opponent called with .
The flop came , keeping Wasserman in the lead with ace-high, but giving his opponent a straight draw.

Firing his second bullet of the day, Malcolm Bolger found himself seated at the same table as Kitty Kuo. The action was folded around to Kuo in the cutoff, the short stack on the table, who pushed all in for her remaining 363,000. Bolger was in the big blind and looked down at and made no hesitation in making the call. He was glad to see he was in a dominating position up against Kuo's , however this was no fight Bolger was going to win.
The flop came and Bolger leaped out of his chair in disgust. The turn would have him drawing dead as another Ace hit the board, and Bolger was in disbelief.
"I can't win a hand today! This is unbelievable", Bolger said with pure disappointment on his face. Kuo silently stacked her chips and lived to fight another day, hopefully not with Bolger for his sake.

Jason Koon has been cruising through the day and building a healthy stack until he ran into a recent cooler. Jonathan Roy from late position raised to 45,000, Eli Israel called from the button, and Jason Koon called from the big blind. The dealer fanned the flop of . Koon checked, Roy bet 75,000 and got called by Israel and Koon.
The turn was an and once again Koon checked and Roy fired 200,000. This time Israel raised to 525,000. Koon thought for a brief moment and put out the chips for a call. Roy folded.
The river brought the and Koon checked a third time. Israel bet 650,000 which got Koon out of his chair and scratching his head. Koon announced to the table "This is so sick!" and not only was he referring to the hand but also to his stomach after he made the call and Israel showed him for quads. Koon mucked his hand as he mentioned he had .
