Local pro, Kevin Rivest from Montreal, Canada, was just eliminated in 15th place. Rivest showed no fear as he battled hard throughout the day getting involved in many pots with the chip leaders. Unfortunately, in a recent hand against Philippe D'Auteuil, Rivest got all his chips in the middle in a dominated position. The two players were all in before the flop and Rivest didn't like his chances when the cards were shown.

Demosthenes Kiriopoulos got his remaining 32,000,000 chips in the middle against Jonathan Bussieres before the flop. When the hands were turned over, it was a classic race scenario.
