Tom Hall Below the One Million Mark

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded around to Tom Hall in the small blind, and the Englishman opted to complete with {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Vojtech Ruzicka checked his option with {A-Spades}{8-Spades}, and the players saw a {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{A-Clubs} flop. Hall came out swinging with a bet of 50,000, and Ruzicka called.

On the {J-Hearts} turn Hall bet again, this time 150,000. Ruzicka wasn't going anywhere and committed the chips. The players checked through the {6-Spades} river, and Ruzicka's top pair was more than enough for the pot.

Hall Puts Wheeler to the Test

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

In the last hand before the break, Jason Wheeler raised to 85,000 from the button with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and Tom Hall made the call with {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} from the big blind. The dealer fanned a {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and Hall check-raised all-in for 888,000 with his ace-high flush draw over the 80,000 bet of Wheeler.

A clearly upset Wheeler slammed his cards into the muck and on break, while Hall stayed behind and stacked his newly found wealth.

Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 85,000, holding {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} from early position and Bartlomiej Machon defended the big blind with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. On the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Spades} flop, Machon check-called a bet worth 75,000 before the duo checked the {J-Diamonds} turn.

After the {7-Hearts} river, Machon checked again and paid off the bet of Ruzicka for 119,000 with his queens, then mucked when Ruzicka showed trips aces.

Machon Makes Massive Overbet With the Nuts

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

Bartlomiej Machon made it 80,000 to go with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} from first position and Jason Wheeler defended his big blind with {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Both players connected with the {7-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop, but it was Machon with the worst of it who bet 120,000. Wheeler called.

The players checked through the {6-Diamonds} turn, before the {8-Diamonds} on the river made Machon the nut flush. Wheeler checked a third time, and Machon took his time cutting out a massive overbet of 775,000. Wheeler folded quickly, and Machon scooped the pot.
