David Peters Doubles Up Through Noah Vaillancourt

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante
David Peters doubled up to rise again...but will he make day 4?
David Peters doubled up to rise again...but will he make day 4?

David Peters doubled up pre-flop when he got his 6.5m chips into the middle over the top of a Jerry Odeen only for Odeen to fold and Noah Vaillancourt to call.

Noah Vaillancourt: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
David Peters: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

The board ran out a dry {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to double-up David Peters and damage Noah Vaillancourt's chances of running to Day 4.

Here are all the counts from another super-tough table.

Lebedev Loses a Big Flip

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Soon after doubling up an opponent, Jon Spinks took revenge in a big pot and had Sergey Lebedev all in and at risk for effectively 21,000,000. The raising war saw Lebedev turn over pocket queens and Spinks held the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Spinks binked the turn to eliminate the always dangerous Lebedev.

Bicknell Left Short After Farrell Double

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Ben Farrell shoved for his last 4,765,000 from the button and Kristen Bicknell eventually called in the big blind.

Ben Farrell: {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Kristen Bicknell: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

After a board of {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Farrell turned a queen to double and left Bicknell short in chips.

Happy Dance and Big Pot for Williams

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the flop of {J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Philip Hepburn check-raised and then called the shove of Ashley Williams to put himself at risk for around 14,000,000.

Phiilip Hepburn: {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for top pair
Ashley Williams: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a gutshot

The {4-Hearts} turn gave Williams a wheel and he jumped out his chair, said "ship it" and started a little dance right behind the table, which some players on the table greeted with a big smile on the face. The meaningless {Q-Clubs} completed the board and Williams then apologized to Hepburn before stacking the ton of chips.

Setback for Cody

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

On the heads-up turn showing {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, Jake Cody checked out of the blinds and Mark Kelsall bet 1,075,000. Cody check-raised all in and Kelsall called with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for two pair. Cody was hoping for clubs as he showed {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, but the {10-Hearts} river was a brick to send Cody below average.

Tom Takes Two

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante
Tom Hall
Tom Hall

Tom Hall is running the streets at table #43 and seems to win most of the hands he engages in right now.

First off Hall raised to 1,2 million from the button and Sergio Castelluccio defended his big blind. The players checked through the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} flop before Castelluccio bet 600,000 on the {8-Spades} turn. Hall called.

It got interesting on the {K-Diamonds} river. Castelluccio bet one million, and Hall went into the tank. When he got out two minutes later, he made it 8,25 million to go, and that eventually got the fold from a surprised looking Castelluccio.

The very next hand Hall was at it again, firing pre, flop and turn to get a fold out of Tommaso Briotti on a {J-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} board. He succeeded.

Bicknell Busted, Rypulak Ruling

Level 44 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell busted late on Day 3
Kristen Bicknell busted late on Day 3

Kristen Bicknell doubled up before she busted late on Day 3. First, Bicknell super-short blind-on-blind call saw her hold with {Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs} against Mateuz Rypulak's {3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} across the {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} board.

That put Bicknell on 4million, but she needed another double before even being above ten big blinds, and she failed to get it when she called the button's shove in the next hand. Bicknell held {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, but couldn't hold against {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} when the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.

While Bicknell's conqueror gained a few million, it was the man who originally doubled her micro-stack who has the lead across Day 3. Mateusz Rypulak has a golden £100,000 'Last Longer' chip to his name alongside 78 million chips, a mammoth stack. If he wins the MILLIONS Main Event outright as well as the last longer, he'll walk away with a cool £1.1million this weekend.
