Chidwick Rivers While Farrell Falls

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick pictured during Day 3. He already has double what he started with on Day 4.
Stephen Chidwick pictured during Day 3. He already has double what he started with on Day 4.

Stephen Chidwick was down to fresh air just two hands ago, now the legendary British High Roller is back amongst the counts with 25 big blinds.

All the money went in pre-flop, and it wasn't just from Chidwick. Ben Farrell was shortest with just six million chips, and he committed all of them with {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Chidwick was all-in with {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and both those players were at risk of elimination from Jeremy Pantin, who had the leading hand with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The flop of {3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds} saw Pantin maintain his lead and leave Farrell chasing a minor miracle. Chidwick still had outs, but they weren't helped by the {7-Spades} river. Only an ace or king would do, but one of those six available cards came on the {K-Clubs} river. Farrell was out of the door, but Chidwick suddenly has just under 20 million chips from nowhere.

Lyall Second Casualty of the Day

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante

Over on the feature table, Paul Byrne raised from late position and short stack Dean Lyall shoved from one seat over in the hijack. The action folded back to Byrne and he quickly called.

Dean Lyall: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Paul Byrne: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

After a board of [8h7h54s8c7d], Lyall found no help and had to settle for 44th place and £20,000.

Game Over for Boivin

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante
Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

The first of five golden chip contenders has been eliminated and it was Thomas Boivin who joined the rail. Boivin shoved for around 13 big blinds on the button and Ben Morrison reshoved from the small blind to get Sergio Castelluccio out of the way. "Same hand, will be split pot again," Castelluccio joked.

Thomas Boivin: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Ben Morrison: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop took some outs away from Boivin, and he was drawing dead on the {A-Spades} turn, making the {3-Diamonds} river a formality.

Katie's Clubs Ends Russell

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante
Katie Swift
Katie Swift

The action folded around to Katie Swift on the button, and she made it 1,85 million to go. Warren Russel in the big blind moved in for 11,2 million, and Swift made the call after a while.

Swift: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Russel: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The {7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop kept it interesting, and though the {A-Clubs} turn changed the lead, Swift was drawing to clubs and fours. The {3-Clubs} river sealed the deal, and Swift dragged the pot.

Cody's Stack Halved After Stahle Wins Flip

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante

Christoffer Stahle raised from early position, then faced the three-bet of Jake Cody on the button to 5,000 and moved all in. Cody called and took a flip to put the Swede at risk.

Christoffer Stahle: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Jake Cody: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

On the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, Cody showed a dry smile and said "that's a bad flop," and Stahle's double was confirmed on the {2-Hearts} turn. After the {K-Clubs} river, the stacks were counted and Stahle's double was for 18,215,000, which represented half of Cody's stack.

Sour End for Lemon

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante

Jonathan Lemon is out of this partypokerLIVE Millions Main Event in brutal fashion, after getting his money in with {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} from the small blind against David Peters' {J-Spades}{8-Spades} in the big blind.

The {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was great for Lemon, and the {5-Clubs} on the turn didn't change much, but one of the two non-diamond eights hit the river as the {8-Hearts} rolled off, and Lemon hit the rail.

Iaron Lightbourne Out of Lauck

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante
Iaron Lightbourne
Iaron Lightbourne

The 2015 partypoker WPT Nottingham champion, Iaron Lightbourne, is the latest casualty at the Dusk Till Dawn. Lightbourne got his last 7,200,000 in holding {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} of Jonas Lauck.

Neither the flop, turn nor river came through for Lightbourne as the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and with Lauck being the bigger stack by a few hundred thousand he was credited with the knockout.

Dietrich Extends His Lead

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante

Moritz Dietrich made it 1,850,000 to go under the gun, and Maria Lampropoulos reraised to 5,4 million out of the small blind. Dietrich quickly made the call, and the players checked through the {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and the {Q-Diamonds} turn. On the {A-Clubs} river Lampropoulos checked a third time and made the call when Dietrich made a bet of 7,5 million. She couldn't beat the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} of Dietrich, however, and the Austrian raked in the chips.

With that pot, Moritz Dietrich extends his lead in this partypokerLIVE Millions Main Event.

Swift Retakes the Lead

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante
Katie Swift
Katie Swift

Katie Swift is in complete and utter control of her table at present, and while the hands she's won have been comparitively minor with the all-in and calls that have proliferated her rise to the top of the chipcounts several times over the last 24 hours, she continues to accumulate chips.

A pair of sixes on a board showing {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} won her a pot against Igor Kurganov, who had {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Swift then pushed two more players off pots on the river. She's rarely getting to showdown and closing in on a hundred million chips. Right now, she is a runaway train, and at this stage can take a hit from any player at her table and still be right up there at the top of the chipcounts

Grochulski Doubles Through Chidwick

Level 46 : 400,000/800,000, 80,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick has more than double up his short stack and now stands at more than ten times what he started with. Daniel Wilson will require a similar miracle to turn things around, because he just took a massive hit after Grzegorz Grochulski doubled through him in a preflop all in.

Grzegorz Grochulski: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Daniel Wilson: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Grochulski rivered a straight to double for 13,610,000.
