Muehloecker Cracks Aces

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

A massive pot was just being shipped the way of Thomas Muehloecker and it was all because he cracked the pocket aces of Will Givens. It is unsure as to when all of the chips got in the middle, but Muehloecker flopped top pair with a flush draw holding {a-Spades}{q-Spades}. The river completed the flush for Muehloecker and Givens was eliminated.

Bonomo Eliminates Tsoukernik for Good

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Leon Tsoukernik
Leon Tsoukernik

Leon Tsoukernik had a rough go at things today on the felt, firing up a total of seven bullets before the late registration period ended. Although he didn't have a huge stack in front of him, Tsoukernik found himself in the middle of a healthy-sized pot. Justin Bonomo opened to 130,000 in early position and was called by Simon Higgins in middle position, Manig Loeser in the cutoff, and Tsoukernik on the button.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Tsoukernik who bet 275,000. Bonomo and Higgins called while Loeser got out of the way. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and again, the action checked to Tsoukernik. This time, he shoved all in for 1,140,000 and Bonomo made the call after asking for a count.

Tsoukernik turned over {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} which was the best hand for now against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Bonomo. The {9-Diamonds} rolled off on the river and while both players made a straight, Bonomo also made a flush to eliminate Tsoukernik for the final time.

Watson Out-Flops Nemeth

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Andras Nemeth raised it up from under the gun and Mike Watson three-bet to 325,000 directly on his left. The action folded back to Nemeth who just called and the flop came {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

Nemeth checked to Watson who continued for 390,000 and Nemeth check-raised all in. Watson instantly called off his stack of 1,865,000 and the cards were tabled. Nemeth showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} but Watson flopped two pair with {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river was the {a-Spades}, giving Watson a full double up.

The field is down to just 52 players already as players have continued to fall at a rapid pace. Some of those to be eliminated already include Fedor Holz, Patrik Antonius, Bertrand Grospellier, and Michael Addamo

Who Can Bet Last?

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Late registration has officially closed in the $10,000 High Roller and the total number of entries on the tournament clock reads 196. That will nearly double the $1 million guaranteed prizepool but the payouts are still being finalized.

The action has not slowed down since the re-entry period ended, and Simon Higgins has continued to build a stack. The action folded to Higgins in the small blind who just opted to limp in. Joao Vieira raised to 150,000 and Higgins countered with a three-bet to 550,000. Vieira stuck in a four-bet to 1,015,000 and Higgins just called.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Higgins announced all in which quickly prompted Vieira to fold his cards with under 2,000,000 chips in front of him.
