Addamo Wins the Battle of the Blinds

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

The action folded to Ben Tollerene in the small blind on just a five-handed table and he made it 425,000 to go. Michael Addamo defended from the big blind and the flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Tollerene continued for 375,000 and Addamo called.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and both players checked to the {6-Spades} on the river. Tollerene checked again and Adams put together a bet of 1,325,000. Tollerene instantly tossed in a chip to call and Adams turned over {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for the best hand.

The tournament is already down to just 50 players before the first level has completed. Some of those to be eliminated include Steffen Sontheimer, Julian Stuer, and Craig McCorkell.

Tsoukernik Spikes a One Outer in a Massive Pot

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Leon Tsoukernik
Leon Tsoukernik

The action on Day 3 got started with a bang and Leon Tsoukernik was jumping in celebration just moments into the first level. When we arrived at the table, the cards were spread across the felt and players were gathering around to see what all of the commotion was about. Well, it was definitely warranted!

The board read {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and there were three hands tabled. According to the table, all of the chips got in the middle on the flop and for good reason. Jason Koon was all in for a little over 6,000,000 with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Christopher Kruk was all in for around 9,500,000 with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, and Leon Tsoukernik had both players covered with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Koon held the best hand on the flop with a set of eights, Kruk turned the best hand with the nut flush, but Tsoukernik rivered quads to eliminate both opponents.

"Yes! What a start!" Tsoukernik exclaimed as he clapped his hands. "I can't believe it!" Koon and Kruk were left shaking their heads as they left the table.

"I'll see you in the $250k," Kruk said.

Once Tsoukernik was awarded the pot, he had more to say. "How much was that pot, anyway? I'm the chipleader for sure!" Indeed Tsoukernik has moved into the chip lead for the time being. "They should have ordered coffee, too. They would still be here."

"I would like to change my order to a coffee," Jonathan Jaffe responded.

Steve O'Dwyer Leads the Final 59 Players in $25,500 MILLIONS World

Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Heading into Day 3 of the $25,500 MILLIONS World, there are just 59 players remaining with a shot at becoming a new millionaire. The 2018 Caribbean Poker Party at the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas has been filled with fun and games for the players, but it's time to get down to some serious business with some big money on the line.

A regular on the high roller scene, Steve O'Dwyer, will carry the chip lead into Day 3. O'Dwyer moved near the top of the leaderboard after the dinner break on Day 2, and then vaulted himself into a massive lead in the last few hands of the night. He will bring 25,650,000 with him to the table that will become the feature table after the first break of the day. Along with O'Dwyer, the table will consist of other high-stakes pros such as Alex Foxen, Manig Loeser, Rainer Kempe, and Davidi Kitai.

The field has been filled with notable names from start to finish and there are plenty more players to keep an eye on. Chance Kornuth held the lead after Day 1a and currently sits in second place with 18,245,000. Another American, Ben Tollerene, rounds out the top three stacks with 17,210,000. There are still three partypoker pros still in the field including Jason Koon (6,705,000), Joao Simao (6,470,000), and Isaac Haxton (1,370,000).

The money bubble is not far off the radar with just 39 players making the money. That is only 20 eliminations away and that could slow down the action as it approaches. A min-cash will be worth $60,000 but everyone will have their sights set on the first-place prize of $2,000,000. The top three finishers will each earn a seven-figure payday.

There are 10 levels on the schedule for today but the action will likely come to an end once the final table is reached. The blinds will resume on level 19 starting at 60,000/120,000 and a 120,000 big blind ante. They will continue to be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two levels. There will also be a 90-minute dinner break after the sixth level of the day.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on site to bring you exclusive partypoker specific coverage of the event.
