Together with the 303 entries of yesterday, the total has now gone up to 598 after three flights. In total 193 players have already made Day 2, and they will all be looking to make it through to the final day on February 18th.

The chip leader for this flight is Aristeidis Moschonas with 8,720,000. His biggest live cash actually took place at another partypoker LIVE event, the partypoker Grand Prix in Vienna, last year. He finished in 4th place back then, he will be looking to better that result. Second in the chip counts for this flight is Jon Kyte from Norway who managed to bag 8,185,000. He recently won the partypoker Nordic Poker Championships in Prague so he is no stranger to these tournaments.

Closing the podium for today’s flight is Jan Mach. The local player bagged 7,425,000 and has been steadily grinding his stack up all day. Other notables that bagged today and to keep an eye on for tomorrow include Jan-Peter Jachtmann (7,220,000), Team partypoker’s Philipp Gruissem (6,985,000), partypoker ambassador Joao Simao (6,150,000), Alexander Lakhov (4,070,000), Dominik Panka (3,500,000), Timothy Adams (2,880,000), and Andrei Boghean with 1,845,000 chips.

partypoker was well represented as expected but unfortunately Roberto Romanello, Anatoly Filatov, Joni Jouhkimainen[/b] and Marcel Luske didn’t make it through. They will try their luck again in Day 1d. Other notables failing at the hurdles include Tobias Ziegler, Felipe Ramos, Giorgios Zisimopoulos, Markus Durnegger, Kenny Hallaert, Ole Schemion, Vlad Darie, Martin Kabrhel, Jason Wheeler, Mustapha Kanit and James Akenhead.

The action is still going on heavily in Day 1d and all the updates can be followed here. The PokerNews live reporting team will be there until the very end to provide you with all the information.
