Staszko Chips Up Early On

Level 1 : 5,000/10,000, 5,000 ante

A big pot was brewing over on the table of Sebastian Langrock and former November Niner Martin Staszko and the latter was involved into a big pot of 380,000. The completed board showed {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and action checked to Staszko, who bet 150,000. That was enough to force a fold and the Czech raked in the pot without showdown.

The Talk Takes a Hit

Level 1 : 5,000/10,000, 5,000 ante

With 110,000 in the middle and the flop showing {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, The Talk checked out of the big blind and called a bet of 125,000 by Christian Stoyanov on the button. The {6-Hearts} turn and the {J-Hearts} river were checked and Stoyanov showed the {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}. The Talk had a dry smile on the face and flashed his {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} before sending the cards into the muck.

The same table also features Jozef Bartalos in the five seat.

Level 1 : 5,000/10,000, 5,000 ante

Oldrich Travnicek rivered a full house with {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} thanks to the {2-Hearts} as final community card and his bet of 64,000 was called by Stefan Dumitrescu, who mucked when being shown the full house.

Daniel Wilson raised to 25,000 and Vlad Darie, who previously busted on Day 1c, three-bet to 80,000 from one seat over on the button. Only the big blind called and the flop fell {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The big blind checked and Darie's bet of 200,000 won the pot uncontested.

Ayres Dashes Out a Brutal Beat

Level 2 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Stephen Ayres
Stephen Ayres

In a four-bet pot to the {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, Stephen Ayres bet and called the shove of Gary Tomney to see the latter turn over {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Ayres only had the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} but got there with the {Q-Diamonds} turn and {2-Clubs} river. "You called the four-bet with deuces? Really?" an upset Tomney said before heading to the rail.
