Garofalo Gets the Call from Kruk

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The board showed {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Anthony Garofalo led 875,000 into a pot that was around 1,400,000. Christopher Kruk took his time before making the call and the river then fell the {2-Hearts}.

Garofalo quickly moved all in for enough to cover Kruk's remaining 1,800,000 chips that he had behind. Kruk held on to his cards for several minutes before making the call and Garofalo quickly tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for a flopped set. Kruk mucked his hand and Garofalo moved over the 6,000,000 chip mark with the elimination.

Gill Makes the Call

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The board read {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Harpreet Gill checked to Scott Blumstein who then went all in for approximately 2,950,000, into a pot that was around 2,300,000. Gill would be at risk if he called with his remaining 2,165,000 and after a long amount of contemplating, he made the call.

Blumstein tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for a flush draw and Gill flipped over {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for the current best hand with a pair of ladies. Gill would need to dodge Blumstein's two overcards and flush draw on the river which came a red four. Gill got the double up and left Blumstein short stacked during the process.
