At 5 pm today players will get their final opportunity to qualify for tomorrow's Day 2 of the 2018 partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event as Day 1d gets underway.

Day 1c, the penultimate starting flight, kicked off earlier today at noon and has been very popular, so we are expecting a big turnout for Day 1d. Ludovic Geilich came through yesterday's evening flight to sit at the top of the chip-counts after navigating his starting 100,00 chip-stack up to an impressive 1,028,000.

Fellow British players Adam 'IT5PAYDAY' Neal, Steven Warburton, Billy Chattaway, David Vamplew and partypoker UK Poker Championships Super High Roller winner Steven Morris are amongst the players to already have secured a seat for Day 2.

Play will conclude when the 12 40-minute levels have been completed and at which point a full list of the Day 2 players and their chip-counts will be made available.

PokerNews will continue to bring you all the action right up until the partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event champion has been crowned.

Swales Returns to Action

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 500 ante
Hannah Swales
Hannah Swales

Hannah Swales was on the button when she three-bet to 8,500 after a player in middle position had raised and the player in the cutoff had flat called. The initial raiser decided to call and the cutoff folded before a {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop fell.

Swales continued for 8,000 after her opponent had checked only to see him raise it up to 30,000. It was a very early decision to make for Swales and she folded after thinking through her options for around 30 seconds.

Radomski Loses At Showdown

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Karol Radomski
Karol Radomski

Facing a limp from a player in middle-position, Karol Radomski raised to 3,300, Ben Vinson in the small blind called as did the original limper. Radomski continued for 6,000 on the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop after both players had checked to him. Radomski's bet got just the one call as Vinson folded.

The turn {6-Hearts} saw both players check and after the river was revealed to be the {a-Diamonds} neither player wanted to bet and Radomski mucked when he saw his opponent turn over {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a pair.

Kassouf Eliminated

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Will Kassouf
Will Kassouf

With 40,000 already in the pot and the flop laid out {7-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Will Kassouf faced a bet of 20,000 from his opponent in the small blind. Kassouf, who was in middle-position, had a stack of around 75,000 behind him and took his time to think.

"You must have ace-high?" he asked, but got no response.

He then announced all-in and was quickly called.

Will Kassouf: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Kassouf was behind and needed to catch up by the river. He called for one of his outs to hit but when the {a-Hearts} and {6-Hearts} were revealed he was left to ponder reentry.
