This year's partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £1,100 Main Event attracted a total of 1,076 entries, and at the start of Day 2 288 players remain.
The four starting flights were a lop-sided affair, with yesterday's flights containing the overwhelming majority of entrants.

Leading the way is Day 1d chip leader Alex Luz with 1,181,500 chips, closely followed by Day 1b chip leader Ludovic Geilich (1,028,000), Day 1a chip leader Adam Neal (987,000) and fourth in chips at this current moment Day 1c chip leader Andrew Laurie (891,000).
There are still plenty of big names still in contention on Day 2 for a deep run, including 2017 MILLIONS UK winner Maria Lampropoulos (301,000) who will be looking for another good showing at the casino where she won a cool £1,000,000 last year.
Top British pro and 2017 bracelet-winner Chris Brammer (622,000) is still in, along with partypoker Sponsored Pros Natalia Breviglieri (121,000), Marcel Luske (226,500) and Louise Butler (162,000).

A trio of British pros have been drawn to sit on the same table as Day 2 play gets underway with Tom Hall, Ben Vinson, and Ben Winsor set to do battle in the early stages. All three players have recorded over $1,000,000 in live tournament cashes with Hall leading the way on $1,859,530.
Ludovic Geilich came into Day 2 second on the chip-counts list and is seated alongside partypoker Ladies ambassador Louise Butler and partypoker UKPC Super High Roller participant Luke Marsh.
Elsewhere in the Dusk Till Dawn cardroom, Maria Lampropulos and Sylvia Hewitt are table neighbors with Angelo Milioto opposite them.
The first 15 minutes of action has already seen six players head to the exit door. They now have the option of registering the partypoker UKPC £2,000+200 HIgher Roller or the £200+20 UKPC Finale Day 1a, both of which also began at noon.

Thomas Hemming has had a rocket of a start to his Day 2 campaign, eliminating Konstantinos Tzimas in two hands.
According to partypoker Sponsored Pro Natalia Breviglieri, Hemming opened from under the gun on the very first hand, with Tzimas calling, as well as the big blind.
The flop came with two clubs. The big blind checked and Hemming bet 35,000. Tzimas called and the big blind folded.
The turn was the and Hemming bet 85,000. Tzimas moved all in and Hemming tanked for ages before calling. Tzimas showed for a flush but Hemming held for the nut flush. The river was a brick and Hemming chipped up.

Tom Hall raised to 16,000 from under the gun position and when the action folded round to the player in the small blind he moved all in. Jack O'Neill has sat in the big blind and after peaking at his cards cold four-bet all in for around 260,000. Hall contemplated his decision before throwing a chip into the middle to signal a call.
