Troyanovskiy Doubles Through Kurganov

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Igor Kurganov found {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} in the under-the-gun position and he raised to 60,000. He was called by big blind Vladimir Troyanovskiy with {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and the two Russians at the final table battled it out.

The flop was dealt {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Troyanovskiy check-called a bet of 35,000 from Kurganov. The turn was the {j-Clubs} which gave Troyanovskiy even more outs as he hit a flush draw. There was 255,000 in the pot at this point and Troyanovskiy only had 250,000 behind.

Kurganov opted for a bet of 125,000 after Troyanovskiy had bet, exactly half of the stack of Troyanovskiy. The call was made and the {6-Spades} was dealt on the river.

Troyanovskiy checked again and Kurganov pulled the trigger and put him all in and the call was made again by Troyanovskiy.

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

It folded to Wai Kin Yong on the button and he raised to 55,000 with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 180,000 from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The action was back on Yong and he cut out calling chips but he ended up jamming for 865,000. Kisacikoglu quickly folded and Yong picked up some chips from the chip leader.

Kisacikoglu Getting Richer

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 75,000 from early position with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and he was called by big blind Kristen Bicknell with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

The flop was dealt {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Bicknell checked to Kisacikoglu who continued with a smaller bet of 55,000. That was already enough to make Bicknell fold and Kisacikoglu picked up another pot to increase his chip lead.

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Ben Heath raised to 50,000 from the button with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and he was called by both players from the blinds. Vladimir Troyanovskiy called from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Igor Kurganov called with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

The flop was dealt {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and all three players checked. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Troyanovskiy bet 100,000. Kurganov got out of the way with his pocket fours but Heath called with his pair of queens.

The river was the {k-Spades} which improved Heath his hand but it was not enough to win the hand. Heath found that out when he called the 125,000 river bet by Troyanovskiy.

Michael Addamo Eliminated in 8th Place

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo moved all in for 485,000 from the cutoff when it folded to him. He held {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and it folded to big blind Ben Heath who had to use a time bank chip to make a decision with {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. He ended up calling and they opened up to see they were flipping.

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and none of those cards helped Addamo as he was eliminated from the tournament.

They are left with seven players and they are on the exact bubble of the tournament. The next player eliminated will take home €0 while the others will be guaranteed to make at least €213,000.

Orpen Kisacikoglu

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 50,000 and the river was the {10-Diamonds}. Kisacikoglu checked to Troyanovskiy but he didn't fall for it when he checked behind.

Small Pot for Yong

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

It folded to Michael Addamo in the small blind and he limped with {k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Wai Kin Yong checked in the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and the {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop came down.

Addamo checked to Yong and he decided to fire a bet of 25,000 and that was more than enough to make Addamo throw his cards into the muck.

Paul Phua Eliminated in 9th Place

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Paul Phua
Paul Phua

It folded to Cary Katz on the button and he raised all in for 315,000 with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. He got a shove through from the cutoff in the previous hand but it wasn't as easy this time around. Paul Phua called from the small blind for his tournament life and Kristen Bicknell got out of the way in the big blind.

Katz was delighted to see Phua open up {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The board ran out {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Katz won the pot, eliminating Phua in the process.

The Triton co-founder misses out on his 17th Triton cash but he can still jump in the €25,000 Triton Short Deck event that is about to start here in King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
