Short Break

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The players have decided they would rather have a 10-minute break every two levels instead of a 15-minute break every three levels and so they have been sent on another break. There are still seven players remaining in the Triton 100K Super High Roller and they'll continue shortly.

Bicknell Doubles Through Heath

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Kristen Bicknell raised to 50,000 from middle position with {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and it folded to Ben Heath in the small blind. He just called with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and big blind Vladimir Troyanovskiy got out of the way.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Heath check-called a 30,000 continuation bet from Bicknell. The {j-Hearts} gave Heath the straight, but Bicknell filled up to a full house.

Both players checked this time to see the {3-Diamonds} on the river and Heath checked again. Bicknell bet 65,000 and Heath shoved all in for effectively 217,000 more. Bicknell snap-called and Heath saw the bad news.

Phua Doesn't Get Value From Yong

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Paul Phua
Paul Phua

Paul Phua raised from the cutoff to 42,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and he was called by Wai Kin Yong from the big blind with {q-}{9-}.

The flop was dealt {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Yong took over the lead. The two of them battled it out in a heads-up match recently in the Triton London Main Event. Yong ended up on top in that battle but it was going to be tougher in this one as both checked and the {a-Hearts} turn was dealt.

Both checked again and the {j-Spades} river came down to complete the board. Yong check-folded on the river when Phua bet 45,000.

Phua Shoves

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised to 32,000 from middle position holding {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and he was called by Igor Kurganov on the button with {k-Spades}{9-Spades} and Paul Phua in the big blind with {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} and all three players checked their option. The {10-Hearts} on the turn awarded the lead to Phua in the hand but he checked to Kisacikoglu. The preflop aggressor made a bet of 30,000 and Kurganov folded.

Phua then shoved his last 219,000 in the middle and Kisacikoglu let his pocket kings go.
