Taysi Avoids Elimination

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With 13,000 each invested on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} turn, Rico Schultz and Muhtar Taysi headed to the {9-Diamonds} river. Schultz eyeballed the stack of Taysi and then bet more than 60,000. Taysi only had 14,500 behind and eventually called all-in to get shown the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} by Schultz. He had that beat with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and almost knocked over the table with drinks to his right with the excitement.

Egilli Scores A Double Knockout

Level 2 : 400/800, 800 ante

Osman Aksu was already at risk before the flop which then showed {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Habib Nahra moved all-in to get snap-called by Suat Egilli.

Osman Aksu: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Habib Nahra: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Suat Egilli: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The {4-Clubs} turn and {q-Spades} river brought no miracle escape for either Aksu or Nahra and Egilli scored the double knockout to topple the big stack of Mete Ustuay from one seat over.

Slusarek Eliminated by Alahwal

Level 2 : 400/800, 800 ante
George Alahwal
George Alahwal

On a flop of {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, George Alahwal bet 2,500 and faced a raise to 7,500 by Patryk Slusarek. Alahwal made it 32,500 to go and then called the shoe by Slusarek.

George Alahwal: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Patryk Slusarek: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The board completed with the {6-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river, giving Alahwal the nut flush with the superior hand anyways. "I gonna defend my 2,400. I lost with aces against pocket fours on the other table," Alahwal said in table chat. The stacks were counted and Alahwal's 116,600 were superior to send Slusarek to the rail.

Heads-up to the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, Meraj Mirzaei bet 1,800 from under the gun and Erdal Gulseven raised to 4,500 from the cutoff, picking up a call. Mirzaei then check-called the {8-Hearts} turn for 8,500 and checked the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Gulseven continued his aggression and made it 17,800 to go, which didn't result in a call.

Vaizman bet the {j-Diamonds} turn for 5,100 and Egilli came along to see the {10-Spades} river go check, check.
