Rokas Neiberka chipped up some early on and the player that busted first on Day 1b then knocked out Robert Rbeiz. That happens to be Mete Ustuay, who is now off to a good start on Day 1c with 85 players out of 87 entries remaining.
On the tail end of a bigger pot between satellite qualifier Ruslan Volkov and Seref Amar, the former bet the 
river for 55,000. Amar tank-called but mucked when he was shown the

That left Amar with very few chips and he departed shortly after, having played around half an hour.
Day 1c has already reached 80 entries and even though the conference centre is barely filled with several players wearing blankets the action is slowly but surely heating up. Among the latest to take a seat were Andrea Ricci and Irena Macesovic.

The flagship tournament of the festival comes with a $3 million guarantee and that may very well be surpassed today with Day 1c scheduled to get underway at noon local time at the five-star Merit Crystal Cove Hotel Casino & Spa in Girne, North Cyprus.
So far, the crown jewel of the series has attracted 486 entries of which 214 players advanced to Day 2. Those unhappy with their stack sizes accumulated can join the fray once more as only the best stack will be carried forward. Becoming the new chip leader will be a tall task to achieve as Killian Desnos (796,500) and [Removed:530] (699,500) have established massive stacks in the first two starting days.

All players will start with 100,000 in chips and the first level features blinds of 300-600 with a big blind ante of 600. The levels for Day 1c will last 40 minutes each and thus there will be a break every two hours with the action concluding around 6pm local time. All those that don't make it through may join the turbo heat 1d with a level duration of 25 minutes each or wait for the restart on Day 2, which will allow for another three levels of late registration.
