Hanna Eliminated by Nurullayev

Level 2 : 400/800, 800 ante
Yunus Nurullayev
Yunus Nurullayev

Georges Hanna bet the heads-up turn of {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs} and then jammed the {7-Hearts} river for around 70,000. Yunus Nurullayev snap-called and Hanna immediately asked if his opponent had a full house. He then exposed {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for the eight-high straight and Nurullayev indeed had {8-Clubs}{7-Spades} for sevens full of eights.

The stacks were counted and Nurullayev had 72,000 for the superior stack size.

Romanov Takes it on the River

Level 2 : 400/800, 800 ante

Igor Romanov raised and earned one cold-caller. The button three-bet and was called three ways as Paul Newey, Romanov and Kush Vinod Kalaria all called. On the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} turn, Romanov bet 12,000 and Vinod called, as did Newey.

Romanov then also bet the {2-Spades} river for 15,000 and Vinod tank-folded while Newey quickly let go.

Savchenko No More

Level 2 : 400/800, 800 ante

After taking the beat in the previous hand, Alexander Savchenko three-bet jammed for just over 12,000 and was called two ways. The active players checked down the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board and Tugce Hursoz turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens.

Savchenko turned over his {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}, somewhat surprised as if he had gone all-in blind. The third player in the hand had raised and called with the {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, which awarded the pot to Hursoz.
