Tugce Hursoz bet the three-way flop of 
for 3,500 and then called a raise to 7,500. There was no action on the 
turn and Hursoz check-called a bet worth 15,000 on the 
river. Her opponent flashed 
but Hursoz had that beat with 
for aces and kings.
Joining the action on the 
turn, Muharrem Atsiz moved all-in for 43,800 and Khalil Tawil made the call with the slightly superior stack.

flop. Taysi bet 3,000 to earn a call and then bet 12,000 on the 
turn. Pamukcu moved all-in for 32,100 and Taysi sigh-folded with the words "I didn't see the chip", referring to the yellow T-25,000 chip in the stack of his opponent.
Three ways to the

Alexander Lakhov three-bet to 13,000 in the blinds and was called two ways to see a flop of 
. Lakhov checked and the initial preflop raiser bet 15,000. Marwan Salamoun then moved all-in for more than 130,000 and Lakhov folded, as did the third player in the hand.
"I had ace-king. Heads-up I call," Lakhov added and Salamoun replied "I had a monster." Lakhov's dry reply to that? "Oh, jack deuce?"
A pot of more than 110,000 emerged to the heads-up turn of 
and Mantas Nanartavicius checked. Aleksandr Kinzhalov then moved all-in and Nanartavicius asked the dealer for the size of the pot.
"I cannot tell you, I can only spread the pot," the dealer replied and Nanartavicius pondered about his decision. The call followed some 20 seconds later.

Koray Korkmaz has become an early casualty here on Day 1a after his 
were cracked by the 
of Veselin Naydenov. The Bulgarian had flopped two pair to send Korkmaz out for now. Soon after, Saman Nakhjavani also ran out of chips to reduce the field of hopefuls further.
