Pan Doubles Through Naydenov

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The high-octane action continued as Veselin Naydenov jammed at the wrong time. With 80,000 in the middle, the Bulgarian ripped it in on the {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts} turn only to get snap-called by Jim Sue Pan.

Naydenov tabled {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} fr third pair and Pan already had the checkmark with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks. The meaningless {a-Clubs} river only improved Pan as Naydenov was reduced to a third of the starting stack.

Avci Eliminated by Nanartavicius

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The wild ride continues for Mantas Nanartavicius, as he was just involved in another all-in showdown. A raise to 20,200 was in front of Rauf Avci on the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop and Nanartavicius made it 52,000 to go. Avci jammed and was instantly called by the Lithuanian.

Rauf Avci: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Mantas Nanartavicius: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Nothing changed on the {3-Clubs} turn but the {2-Hearts} river gave Nanartavicius a winning flush.

Okten Back in and in the Plus

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Sercan Okten check-called for 3,500 on the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} turn and checked again the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Marwan Salamoun bet 6,600 and was quickly called to turn over [5c4c[ for a bluff. Okten only had {a-Hearts}{8-Spades} but that won the pot.

Nanartavicius Doubles Sowinski and Busts Periaux

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Mantas Nanartavicius
Mantas Nanartavicius

The stack of Mantas Nanartavicius took a massive blow when he splashed in all his big chips on the river of a {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} board. Piotr Sowinski only had 128,300 behind and eventually made the call. Nanartavicius turned over {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of sixes and missed open-ender plus flush draw.

Sowinski had that beat with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for just the second pair and doubled into the current lead.

Shortly after, Nanartavicius bounced back when his {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} prevailed against the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} of Ludovic Periaux. The chips went in after the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and Periaux was in dire shape with {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the second pair. Nanartavicius tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for top set and had nothing to fear on the {3-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} river runout.

Naydenov Jams Up the Stack

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Veselin Naydenov called an open raise while in the cutoff and Jakub Michalak then three-bet to 10,000 in the small blind. The initial raiser called and Naydenov opted to shove. Michalak asked for a count and the all-in was deemed to be for 93,000 total.

Michalak reluctantly folded as did the third player in the hand, and Naydenov added some chips to his stack.
