Mareshki Vanishes in Massive Pot

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Veselin Mareshki
Veselin Mareshki

Only 15 minutes ago, Veselin Mareshki was near the top of the leaderboard but he has just vanished in a massive pot. According to players at the table, it was a three-way flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop on which Mareshki bet 245,000 and Fadi Alakzam called.

Mareshki jammed the {2-Hearts} turn with the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Alakzam called with the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair. The flush arrived but it was the {6-Hearts} that fell, improving Alakzam to a full house.

Stefanov Doubles Through Mareshki

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Milen Stefanov
Milen Stefanov

Veselin Mareshki once more used brute force to get the chips in preflop and fellow countryman Milen Stefanov was in no mood for folding, committing his last 523,000 before the flop.

Milen Stefanov: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Veselin Mareshki: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

On a board of {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs} neither player hit and Mareshki took a big hit to his stack.

Khourshoudian Still in the Mix

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

"I am not sure if it's the right jam, we will see if I get lucky," Neshan Khourshoudian said after he had pushed for 17 blinds with the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Erik Bauer also got it in with the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and failed to connect on the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board.

The table also features two big stacks in Lachezar Petkov and Artur Martirosian, and Khourshoudian came back from very few blinds not long ago.

Beg's Big Ballsy River Call Rewarded

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Furkan Beg
Furkan Beg

On the tail end of a pot between Fahredin Mustafov and Furkan Beg, the board showed {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Mustafov bet 300,000 into a pot of just shy of that and Beg was in the tank.

The clock was called and Beg then made the call with a few seconds left to act. Mustafov tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a bluff and Beg took it down with the {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

It's All About the Eights

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

"Antoine" three-bet to 38,000 for a decent portion of his stack and then called when another player jammed behind. He was all in for 88,000 with the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and prayed for a miracle, as he faced {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}.

Sure enough the {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} board provided quads for the signature double.

Desnos Thrives After Dinner; Busts Duta

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kilian Desnos
Kilian Desnos

"Don't bluff a bluffer," Kilian Desnos said after he had just scored a massive pot to essentially double up after the dinner break. He then faced the shove of Florian Duta for 77,000 and Garik Tamasian called from two seats over.

Desnos shipped it in with the biggest stack and Tamasian reluctantly folded.

Florian Duta: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Kilian Desnos: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Duta. Tamasian mentioned in table chat after the hand that he had folded ace-queen.

Chan Busts Dressler; Loses to Staahle

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Christian Dressler ran with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} into the pocket queens of Matthieu Chan who then raised from under the gun. Kent Staahle defended the big blind and check-raised the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop to 55,000, which Chan called. Staahle then bet the {10-Hearts} turn for 55,000 and the {8-Diamonds} river for 115,000.

Chan called both times and mucked when he was shown the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a rivered full house.
