Jattin's Stack Vanishes in Two Hands

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

On the three-way flop of {J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Farid Jattin escalated the action against Jussi Nevanlinna and Bryan Ruiter. Nevanlinna had bet 150,000 and Jattin called before Ruiter check-raised to 450,000. That forced a quick fold from Nevanlinna, but Jattin had other plans and moved all in for two million. Ruiter eventually called and was shown {7-}{5-}, while tabling his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for the overpair.

The {5-Hearts} turn gave Jattin two pair, but the {9-Hearts} river restored the preflop and flop order as Ruiter improved to a flush. Jattin was already on his way out, but didn't have Ruiter covered to get called back to the table. It wouldn't take long for Jattin's remaining 450,000 to get in the middle and partypoker ambassador Sam Trickett looked him up.

Farid Jattin: {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Sam Trickett: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

This time the board came {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and again the hearts flush bested Jattin to finish off what had started in the previous hand.

Kotoviezy Busts; Zinno Takes a Hit

Level 11 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Dayane Kotoviezy
Dayane Kotoviezy

Dayane Kotoviezy was spotted on her way out of the tournament area and Roberto Romanello confirmed that she had three-bet all in with a short stack and king-jack only for Kenneth Smaron to quickly call with ace-king and emerge victorious.

Fellow big stack Anthony Zinno has taken a setback in the penultimate level of the night. On the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, Zinno checked and called a bet of 225,000 by Carlo Alteri. On the {3-Hearts} turn, Zinno check-called the shove for 540,000 and tabled {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for top pair. Alteri had the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and the {10-Hearts} river was a blank.

Koon among Casualties

Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon won't be repeating his deep run from the €101,000 Super High Roller as the team partypoker member was just ousted after riding a short stack lately. Several other big names busted and will have to focus on the €10,300 High Roller of the €1,100 Finale in the upcoming days.

Patrik Antonius lost a big chunk of his stack when ending up second-best to pocket queens when calling a push with pocket sevens.

Bad Beat for Plesuv

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Pavel Plesuv
Pavel Plesuv

Claudio di Giacomo raised to 80,000 from under the gun and was called by big stack Kenneth Smaron from one seat over. Pavel Plesuv moved all in for 570,000 from the hijack and di Giacomo squeezed to 1.0 million in order to force a quick fold from Smaron.

Pavel Plesuv: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Claudio di Giacomo: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop gave the Italian top set and that remained the case throughout the {8-Diamonds} turn and {9-Clubs} river. "I had ace queen," Smaron said in table chat.

De Meulder Caught Bluffing

Level 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Matthias De Meulder
Matthias De Meulder

On the three-way turn of {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, Matthias De Meulder bet 80,000 and was called by Raphael Wieczorek, while Evangelos Bechrakis folded. The {Q-Diamonds} river saw De Meulder double his bet sizing of the previous street and Wieczorek tossed in a call rather quickly.

De Meulder showed {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for a busted straight draw, which Wieczorek had beat with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for queens and sixes. Both players remain among the big stacks, and Georgios Zisimopoulos arrived with the words "hey guys" right when the hand ended.
