The third and fourth casualty of the day were Rainer Kempe and Claudio di Giacomo respectively. Ran Shahar avoided the same fate after he doubled through Joris Ruijs for his last 231,000.

Atanas Kavrakov three-bet twice against the same player in a row, Felipe Boianovsky, and forced folds. Soon after the duo was involved in another hand and Georgios Karakousis made it three ways to the turn. Karakousis checked out of the big blind and Boianovsky did so from the cutoff.
