Love PLO? You'll Love These PLO Daily Legends at partypoker

partypoker Omaha Daily Legends
partypoker Omaha Daily Legends

Pot Limit Omaha players are often overlooked when it comes to tournament poker. Not at partypoker where the PLO players have some incredible tournaments to get their teeth into: the PLO Daily Legends.

partypoker's Daily Legends tournaments have proven immensely popular for several reasons. They have reduced a late registration period and limited re-entries (usually just a single re-entry) which levels the playing field. They finish at a reasonable hour, too, without compromising the average stack size. They are genius really.

PLO Daily Legends follow in the same vein except they are all Omaha tournaments instead of hold'em. Buy-ins range from the $2.20 Forge and increase to the $55 Chieftain.

Nemeth Leads WPT WOC Main Event Day 2

Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

After two starting flights, Andras Nemeth is the overall chip leader of the WPT World Online Championships Main Event. He is the only player over four million in chips.

That's the benchmark for any player wanting to wrest control away from Nemeth.

Check out the WPT WOC Main Event page for recaps on Day 1A and Day 1B.

Other partypoker Sunday Tournaments

Various tournaments are also running on partypoker tonight, both as part of the WPT World Online Championships and other tournaments.

With less than 90 minutes left in the Mix-Max Championship Day 1B there are 139/186 players remaining. Mike Watson and Sylvain Loosli feature at the top of the counts, with Isaac Haxton and Yuri Dzivielevski also still in.

Meanwhile the Turbo Championship doesn't get underway for another 25 minutes or so, but there are still 22 players entered into that $2,100 PKO tournament.

Three packages to the MILLIONS North Cyprus are guaranteed tonight with just 13 players in contention in the final of that tournament. Alexander Jung leads the way, but there's still a long way to go in that one.

Another Elimination for Matthew Staples

Matt Staples
Matt Staples

Moments ago, Matthew Staples was the chip leader but had run kings into the aces of Felipe Boianovsky to move back to just over starting stack.

He was in a hand against Kimmo Fagerholm, with Staples check-calling 26,000 on a board of {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

The river was the {8-Clubs}. Staples checked again and Fagherholm shoved for around 62,000. Staples snap-called.

Fagerholm held {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for top pair, but Staples had flopped a set with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and chipped back up to 350,000.
