Staples Leads WPT WOC Main Event Day 1C

Jaime Staples may be getting ready for his Sunday grind, but Matthew Staples is already up and running in spectacular fashion in the WPT World Online Championships Main Event Day 1C.

Having won his ticket to the Main Event, he doubled up first hand with against the of Ian Hunter, after Staples turned a straight on the board.

He now sits as the chip leader ahead of the likes of Pascal Lefrancois, Niklas Astedt and partypoker Ambassador Isaac Haxton.

There are currently 191 entries with over three hours left of late registration.
