Day 1e of the €1 million guaranteed partypoker LIVE MILLION Germany €1,100 Main Event at King's Casino Rozvadov was a huge success with 146 entrants joining the field or one more than the 145 attracted during the first four opening days (two online at partypoker and two live at King's Casino) combined.
A total of 50 players bagged chips from the Day 1e field making it a total of 87 players thus far that have advanced to Day 2 with two more opening days to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
Czech Republic's Josef Antoš led the way in today's action after bagging 950,500 chips, placing him currently in second place overall just behind Day 1a chip leader Jung Dirg. Antos grabbed the chip lead early after his pocket aces held against his opponent's pocket aces and never looked back.
Other players finishing Day 1e with big stacks included Czech Republic's Petr Konáš (second - 766,900) and Netherlands' Sonay Kehya (third - 732,500).
Partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri was among the players that were unable to advance in today's field. After her elimination in the Main Event, she entered and was eliminated from the €110 King's Big Bang side event before opting to play in the 24/7 cash games hosted at the casino.
Despite her elimination from these two events, Breviglieri had a huge day after winning the partypoker Live MILLION Charity Event. Thanks to her win, she will be able to deliver a huge check of €10,000 to the Lindsey Lodge Hospice, a charity near and dear to her heart.
Two of the Partypoker ambassadors were not part of the field. Jan-Peter Jachtmann already advanced to Day 2 during one of the online opening days, while Anatoly Filatov among the final six players to bag chips in the partypoker LIVE MILLION Germany €2,200 High Roller today.
Day 1f of the Main Event will kick off at 2 p.m. local time tomorrow. As was the case today, the PokerNews live reporting team will be back on the floor to provide complete coverage. Furthermore, there will be coverage of the conclusion of the High Roller tomorrow from 12 p.m., so don't forget to tune in for another great day of poker coverage.
Partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri miraculously ran up a short-stack in the Charity Event earlier today to raise €10,000 for the Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
She was unable to do the same in the Main Event after her opening stack was down to around 60,000.
Breviglieri jammed the rest of her 40,000 chip stack into the pot on a board and was called by Netherlands' Sonay Kehya.
Kehya held for two pair and was well behind the held by Breviglieri for a better two pair. However, Kehya got one of the four outs he needed when a completed the board on the river.
It is uncertain whether Breviglieri will re-enter the Day 1e field as she quickly left the tournament area after the hand was completed. Meanwhile, Kehya is in good position to bag chips with his stack growing to 326,000.
Philipp Gruissem is well-known for his tournament play with almost $11 million in live tournament cashes according to The Hendon Mob. He was unable to add to this total in the High Roller, which he was eliminated from before the last break. He is expected to join the €1 million guaranteed partypoker LIVE MILLION €1,100 Main Event, but we will have to wait and see which day he will join the field on.
The poker pro is also known to be a fierce competitor in cash games as well and is now playing for huge money in a televised €100/€100 no-limit hold'em match on the PokerRoomKings Twitch Channel. You can watch him and others compete by clicking on the Live Streaming tab in our coverage.
Partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri is on top of the world after she just shipped the partypoker LIVE Millions Charity Event. Partypoker decided to generously double the amount donated to charity to €10,000.
So incredibly happy to have just won €10,000 in the @partypokerlive Charity Event for @LindseyLodge #♦
— Natalia Breviglieri♦ (@N4talB)
Breviglieri shared with PokerNews, she feels more emotional as compared to other poker success and will need to wait a little while before hopping into the Day 1e field. She explained that winning money for charity feels much nicer than winning money for yourself. She also shared she can't wait to get home to donate a fat check of €10,000 to a local charity that is near and dear to her heart, the Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
It didn't appear that Breviglieri would get anywhere near a victory early on the in event. She first chopped a pot after getting it all in on a jack-high flop holding king-jack against fellow partypoker Ambassador Jan-Peter Jachtmann after the board pair and an ace appeared on the river.
Then when play was five-handed, she was down to a little more than three big blinds after she three-bet jammed all-in with pocket queens and was unable to hold against German ex-footballer Stefan Effenberg's king-jack after he called.
After that lady luck was on Breviglieri's side.
"I got a bit lucky after that," Breviglieri shared. "I shoved pocket fives and was called by pocket nines. The board ran four cards to my flush and after that, I didn't look back as I have plenty of short-stack experience."
Norway's Borge Sandsgaard is among the early eliminations. He made a huge three-bet preflop holding ace-queen and was called by Czech Republic's Jan Bandura who was holding a pair of threes.
The duo wound up getting it all in with Sandsgaard flopping top pair and Bandura flopping a set of threes after both a queen and three appeared on the flop. Sandsgaard was unable to catch his two runners he needed on the flop and turn and at least for now left the tournament area.
We may see Sandsgaard back in action as all players are allowed to re-enter once per day up until Level 10.

Among the 37 players to already move onto Day 2 include partypoker Ambassador Jan-Peter Jachtmann, who will bring forward a healthy stack of 410,214 chips from the online Day 1c field. Jachtmann had a huge night last night after winning over €67,000 playing €100/€100 and €200/€200 pot-limit Omaha.
Hoping to join him are fellow ambassadors Natalia Breviglieri and Anatoly Filatov. Breviglieri will be playing with Jachtmann and five German celebrities in a charity sit-and-go tournament before she plans to hop into today's Main Event field. The tournament will be streaming live on Twitch and will be able to be viewed on our blog by clicking on the Live Streaming tab. While the sit-and-go tournament does not have a buy-in, partypoker will be donating €5,000 to the charity of the winner's choice.
Meanwhile, it is up in the the air whether Filatov enters the Main Event today or tomorrow depending on how he performs in the partypoker MILLION Germany €2,200 High Roller, which he is the current chip leader of with 60 players remaining.
Players will start off with 100,000 chips with blinds increasing every 45 minutes. Breaks will take place every three levels for 15 minutes with a 45-minute dinner break planned for around 7:30 p.m. Day 1e will end after 12 levels with players allowed to re-enter once today up until late registration is closed after Level 10 concludes.
