Nolet Jams Up Stack; Altkirch Doubles Twice

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

On a three-way flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Jason Koon bet 64,800 into 129,600 and Kevin Parkes called out of the big blind. Guillaume Nolet check-raised to 240,000 from under the gun and was called by both opponents.

The {4-Hearts} followed on the turn and Parkes was the only one to check-call a bet worth 448,000 by Nolet. Parkes also checked the {2-Spades} river and folded to a jam by Nolet.

Markus Altkirch then doubled twice when his fours cracked the kings of Nolet and {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} got there to beat the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Jon Ander Vallinas Santos. The board ran out {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} for Altkirch to make kings and sevens.

Can Matt Staples Win a 5-Way All-In Hand?

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

partypoker Twitch Team's Matt Staples will be entering this tournament on Day 1b but is playing loads of other events in the meantime. Here's a hand where a 5-way all-in took place:

Badziakouski Catches Greenwood BVluffing

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Sam Greenwood opened to 44,000 and called a three-bet to 100,000 by Mikita Badziakouski. On a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Greenwood opted to check-call a bet worth 60,000 and both players checked through on the {2-Hearts} turn.

Greenwood bet the {7-Spades} river for 92,500 and Badziakouski tank-called to win the pot with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, as Greenwood was caught bluffing with the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Ferreira Felted by Frank

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Rui Ferreira opened from under the gun and called a three-bet by Christopher Frank in the hijack. On a flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, Ferreira check-jammed into a continuation bet worth 90,450, and Frank made the call with the superior stack.

Rui Ferreira: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Christopher Frank: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Frank hit magic on the {q-Hearts} turn and the {6-Diamonds} river sent Ferreira to the rail with the inferior full house.

Leonard Reenters

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Patrick Leonard had busted with the details of that hand unknown but reentered immediately and took the same seat back when he returned in the field:

Level: 8

Blinds: 10,000/20,000

Ante: 2,500

Lalos Doubles Through Haxton

Level 7 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Georgi Sandev raised to 35,200 from the hijack and Isaac Haxton three-bet to 104,000 from the button. Sasa Lalos four-bet shoved from the big blind for 302,352 for Sandev to fold but for Haxton to make the call.

Sasa Lalos: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Isaac Haxton: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for Lalos to hold with the pocket pair of tens for two pair and the double-up.

Queens for Urbanovich

Level 7 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Philipp Kampf raised to 36,000 from the early position and Dzmitry Urbanovich three-bet to 128,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Kampf who made the call.

They both checked through the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop and the {9-Hearts} on the turn to the {4-Hearts} on the river. They both took some time but both opted to check for Urbanovich to claim the pot with the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Koon Spikes the Nuts Against Altkirch

Level 7 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Markus Altkirch raised to 33,600 from under the gun and Jason Koon elected to three-bet out of the big blind for 144,000 in total. Altkirch reluctantly called to see the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop which Koon checked. Altkirch used his time bank and checked behind after an additional 20 seconds of consideration.

The {2-Diamonds} followed on the turn and Koon bet for 216,000, Altkirch made the call and left himself with 306,400 behind.

Koon checked again the {8-Diamonds} on the river and Altkirch did so as well, then got shown the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for the nut flush by Koon.
