Geci Gets Huge Pot

Level 32 : 700,000/1,400,000, 175,000 ante

Endrit Geci raised the cutoff to 3.08M before Usman Ulhaq three-bet big to 25.9M, leaving just over 1M behind. Jerry Odeen called from the big blind, as did original raiser Geci. That's when it all ground to a halt. They all checked through the {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop, turn and river. Odeen showed {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} but mucked to Geci's {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Ulhaq mucked without showing, and was left very short.

Mullen Scores Big Double-Up

Level 32 : 700,000/1,400,000, 175,000 ante
Mullen vs Mikolaitis
Mullen vs Mikolaitis

The flop read {q-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Spades} with 10,220,000 in the middle.

Both Francisco Correia and Richard Mullen checked in the blinds but Dominykas Mikolaitis decided to bet 3,372,600 from the cutoff which only Mullen called.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Mullen check-called the 8,540,000 continuation-bet of Mikolaitis.

The river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds} and Mullen checked for the last time. Mikolaitis shoved with the bigger stack for Mullen to dive deep into the tank as there was an all-in on the other table too. After running his whole time bank down, he made the call at the last second for the 27,009,832 he had behind with the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for the flush which was good to double with as Mikolaitis held the {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Usman Ulhaq Eliminated in 16th Place ($35,084)

Level 32 : 700,000/1,400,000, 175,000 ante
Geci vs Ulhaq
Geci vs Ulhaq

Endrit Geci raised to 3,080,000 from the hijack and Usman Ulhaq tanked for a while before making the call for the 968,584 he had behind. Jonathan Proudfoot called for the full 3,080,000 from the button but Jerry Odeen three-bet to 14,000,000 from the small blind. Valentyn Kazantsev folded his big blind while Geci called and Proudfoot folded.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Odeen bet 5,363,660 which Geci called.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Odeen opted to check. Geci bet 8,960,000 which was enough for Odeen to get away from this hand for the cards to go on their backs.

Usman Ulhaq: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Endrit Geci: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Geci was ahead with the pocket pair but Ulhaq was sitting on an open-ended straight draw to stay alive.

The river completed the board with the {4-Diamonds} to signal the end of Ulhaq's tournament run in 16th place while Geci would be the first player to cross the 200 million mark and for the rest of the field to climb the pay ladder.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Hermogenes Gelonezi: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Board: {4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Gelonezi was ahead with jacks from the start, and managed to fade the ace to hold for a double.

Oliver Weis: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Francisco Correia: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for Correia to stay ahead with the higher pocket pair.

The turn was the {j-Hearts} for Weis to pick up the flush draw but the river completed the board with the {k-Diamonds} instead to not help Weis as he was eliminated in 15th place.

Dzmitry Urbanovich raised the middle to 3.22M and Jonathan Proudfoot called from the cutoff. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and after a check from Urbanovich, Proudfoot bet 3,320,100. Urbanovich called to the {9-Diamonds} turn and checked again.

Proudfoot fired 7M into more than 23M but Urbanovich raised it to 17.5M. Proudfoot called, and they both checked the {3-Diamonds} river.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jonathan Proudfoot: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Board: {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Proudfoot rivered the flush to best Urbanovich's queens, but the paired river slowed down the action.

Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 2,800,000 from under the gun and both Jonathan Proudfoot in the hijack and Justin Ouimette in the big blind made the call.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} and they checked to the {5-Spades} on the turn. It was checked to Proudfoot who continued with a bet of 3,920,000 which only Ouimette called.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} and Ouimette checked for the last time. Proudfoot bet 8,120,000 and Ouimette called but mucked when Proudfoot tabled the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.
